Jasmine Crowe
Jasmine is an award-winning entrepreneur, TED Speaker, and leader who is working to make the world a better place one cause at a time. Her goal is to foster change and create awareness about today's leading socio economic issues and challenges, including poverty, food waste, and hunger. In 2017, after years of feeding people experiencing homelessness from her kitchen, she launched Goodr, a sustainable waste management company that leverages technology to combat hunger and reduce food waste. Under Jasmine's direction, the company is now a multi-million dollar enterprise. Goodr has redirected over 12 million pounds of surplus food from restaurants, convention centers, airports, and businesses to millions of food-insecure people. During the pandemic, Goodr provided a million meals to people in need by delivering food to seniors and children across the country. In 2018 she became the 35th black woman to raise more than $1 Million in venture capital for her business. Her TED Talk, "What We're Getting Wrong in the Hunger Fight," has received more than three million views globally. She has been featured in Forbes Magazine, CNBC, Black Enterprise, Oprah Magazine, OWN Network Super Soul Short Film, Inc. Magazine, The New York Times, and Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the top 100 influential female founders. In July of 2020, she appeared on the cover of the July issue of Entrepreneur Magazine - The World Needs You - as a CEO who is changing the world and shaping the future.
